The EPA announced today that it is requiring the addition of catalytic converters on all lawn mowers as of 2011. This ruling validates our technology and confirms to our customer base that catalytic converters work on small-engines. The unit cost quoted by the EPA press release is also in-line with our price point. Our pool of lawn mower customers will continue to be replenished for another three years, with a used population of 66 million walk-behind mowers in circulation, whose owners will be our target customers for many years beyond 2011. |
